Eric is a General Partner at Bay. Eric's startup experience includes co-founding the Internet server software company WebSpective (acquired by Inktomi), and co-founding TelASIC Communications (a Raytheon spinout, acquired by Microelectronics Technology, Inc). In addition, his operating experience includes being an early business development manager at Mainspring (IPO: MSPR) and as SVP of Corporate Development at MILCOM (Military Commercial Technologies) where he focused on finding and commercializing next generation technologies out of the military, aerospace and Defense sectors. Eric began his venture capital career in 1993 at Highland Capital Partners. Investments during his career include ProCD (acquired by Acxiom), Mesa (acquired by Microsoft), epylon.com (acquired by Accenture), NetD (acquired by Alcatel), OpSource, Invensense and Zyme Solutions. Eric is co-founder and president of alpha, a networking club for more than 400 Founders and CEOs.
